As a Licensed Funeral Director, you will play a crucial role in guiding grieving families through one of the most difficult times in their lives. You will be responsible for coordinating and arranging all aspects of funeral services, ensuring that each family's wishes are honored while adhering to all legal requirements. This position demands a compassionate individual who is capable of providing emotional support and practical assistance during challenging times.

Responsibilities

• Conduct consultations with bereaved families to understand their wishes.
• Manage the logistics of funeral service planning and execution.
• Assist families with obituary preparation and publication.
• Educate families on the options available for memorialization.
• Coordinate with cemetery and crematory staff for proper arrangements.
• Prepare and file all necessary documentation for legal compliance.
• Provide continuous support and follow-up with families post-service.
• Supervise junior staff and ensure adherence to procedures and standards.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Funeral Service or related field

Experience

• 3+ years of experience preferred in a funeral services role.
