Job Description

As a Prison Warden, you will play a crucial role in leading our facility towards operational excellence. You will supervise staff, manage inmate relations, and ensure a safe environment for both staff and inmates.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the overall operation of the prison facility, ensuring security and staff supervision.
  • Ensure strict adherence to prison regulations, policies, and procedures.
  • Supervise and motivate correctional officers, providing necessary training.
  • Monitor and maintain security systems, including surveillance and access control.
  • Implement and oversee inmate programs focusing on education and rehabilitation.
  • Conduct inmate disciplinary hearings and facilitate conflict resolution.
  • Manage inmate intake and release procedures, ensuring accurate documentation.
  • Collaborate with external agencies for inmate support services.
  • Handle emergencies and crisis situations effectively.
  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to enhance operations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice or related field
Experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a correctional facility, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
