Job Description

An Alcohol Law Enforcement Agent (ALE Agent) is responsible for enforcing alcohol-related laws and regulations to ensure compliance and public safety. You will conduct investigations, monitor businesses, and collaborate with law enforcement agencies.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular inspections of licensed premises to ensure compliance with alcohol laws.
  • Investigate complaints, violations, and illegal activities related to alcohol consumption and sale.
  • Enforce laws by issuing citations, warnings, and fines when necessary.
  • Coordinate with local and state law enforcement for joint operations.
  • Provide training to licensed establishments about responsibilities and legal requirements.
  • Prepare case files for legal processes and hearings.
  • Stay informed on policy changes affecting alcohol law enforcement.
  • Engage in community outreach to raise awareness about alcohol-related issues.
  • Assist in undercover operations to crack down on illegal activities.
  • Maintain professional demeanor while representing the agency at public events.

Requirements

Education
  • Associate's degree in Criminal Justice or related field
  • Bachelor's degree is a plus
Experience
  • 2+ years of experience in alcohol law enforcement or regulatory compliance.
