Job Description

As a Buyers and Purchasing Agent for Agricultural Suppliers Co., you will be responsible for sourcing and procurement of farm products. Your role will involve collaborating with suppliers, ensuring product quality, and managing purchasing processes effectively.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement initiatives for sourcing of quality farm products.
• Estimate purchase needs based on inventory forecasts and sales trends.
• Negotiate contracts with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms.
• Review and approve purchase orders and contracts.
• Cooperate with the quality assurance team for compliance checks.
• Stay updated with industry trends and changes in regulations.
• Prepare purchasing reports for management analysis.
• Participate in inventory audits and variances analysis.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
• Master's degree is an asset

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in purchasing or procurement within the agricultural sector
