Job Description

As a Dioramist, you will be responsible for creating intricate miniature models and dioramas that tell compelling stories within exhibits and museums. Your skill in translating 2D designs into 3D masterpieces will be crucial in this role. Collaborate with designers and curators to bring ideas to life while maintaining authenticity and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Design and build accurate replicas for various exhibits.
• Work with historical accuracy in research and execution of models.
• Utilize hand tools and 3D modeling software to create complete projects.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Assist in the setup and installation of models in various settings.
• Maintain inventory of materials and supplies necessary for projects.
• Communicate effectively with team members to align on project goals.
• Participate in team brainstorms to innovate new design approaches.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Design, or a related field

Experience

• 3-5 years of experience in creating miniature models, dioramas, or exhibit designs

Technical Skills

• 3D modeling software (SketchUp, AutoCAD)
• Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)

Soft Skills

• Attention to Detail
• Time Management

Languages

• English: Fluent
