Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Chiseler to join our creative team. In this position, you will be responsible for shaping and carving various materials, creating intricate designs and finishes that showcase your precise craftsmanship and attention to detail. Your role will be essential in turning artistic concepts into tangible works of art that captivate and inspire.

Responsibilities

  • Select appropriate materials for projects based on artistic intent.
  • Design and create intricate carvings that reflect the client’s vision.
  • Engage in regular maintenance and inspections of tools
  • Provide input on material selection and project timelines.
  • Conduct quality checks on finished products to maintain high standards.
  • Mentor junior artisans and assist in their training.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions to improve design processes.
  • Document project progress and report any issues to management.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Formal training or apprenticeship in woodworking or sculpture is preferred
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in chiseling or a related field
