Job Description

We are seeking skilled Welders, Cutters, Solderers, and Brazers to operate and maintain the scrap metal burning process. In this role, you will ensure adherence to safety protocols while optimizing production. If you have a strong understanding of metal properties and experience with burning techniques, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities

• Manage the setup and operation of scrap metal burning equipment.
• Regularly inspect and clean burners to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate in team meetings to discuss productivity and safety improvements.
• Report any equipment failures or safety incidents immediately.
• Support ongoing training for team members in safety and operational best practices.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in welding or related field is preferred.

Experience

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in metal recycling or related processes.

Technical Skills

• Metal Properties Knowledge
• Burning Equipment Operation

Soft Skills

• Communication
• Adaptability

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with other metal working equipment.: Skill in operating additional machinery in the recycling process.
• Certification in OSHA safety standards.: Knowledge of Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations.
