Job Description

As a Furnace, Kiln, Oven, Drier, and Kettle Operator, you will be responsible for the precise operation of machinery that is critical to the glass production process. Your role will be fundamental in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Run and oversee the furnace and lehr operations to ensure quality glass production.
• Monitor and adjust machine performance metrics to enhance efficiency.
• Identify and troubleshoot production issues and collaborate with the maintenance team for repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards at all times.
• Document production schedules and machine maintenance logs accurately.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior operators for skill development.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Technical training in glass manufacturing is preferred

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience operating machinery in a manufacturing setting

Languages
