Job Description

As a Patternmaker at Fashion Forward Inc., you will be responsible for the essential task of pattern creation and modification. Your attention to detail and technical abilities will ensure that our garments not only fit well but also reflect the quality we stand for.

Responsibilities

• Create and modify patterns based on design specifications and technical drawings.
• Ensure patterns accurately represent desired garment style, fit, and construction.
• Collaborate with designers and garment technicians to develop prototypes and samples.
• Analyze and resolve pattern-related issues during the production process.
• Maintain pattern libraries and records of pattern modifications.
• Train and mentor junior patternmakers as needed.
• Follow established quality control procedures to ensure pattern accuracy.
• Keep up-to-date with industry trends and developments in patternmaking techniques.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Formal training or certification in patternmaking or fashion design preferred

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in patternmaking or garment production

Technical Skills
