Job Description

As a Cooling and Freezing Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for the operation and maintenance of cooling systems across various industries. Your role is crucial in ensuring the proper functioning of cooling equipment, monitoring performance, and troubleshooting any issues that arise.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and adjust temperature, pressure, and other parameters to ensure optimal performance.
• Coordinate with suppliers for necessary repairs and replacements.
• Document maintenance activities and work orders efficiently.
• Engage in problem-solving to identify the root cause of system failures.
• Ensure adherence to environmental regulations pertaining to cooling systems.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for cooling and freezing equipment.
• Assist in the integration of automated cooling systems.
• Contribute to safety audits and compliance checks.
• Educate staff on proper cooling system usage and maintenance.
• Work collaboratively with engineers to enhance system design for efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• Associate degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
• Certifications in industrial refrigeration are a plus.

Experience

• 3+ years of experience operating and maintaining cooling systems.

Technical Skills

• Ability to interpret temperature readings
• Experience with automated cooling control systems

Soft Skills

• Excellent teamwork skills
• Good communication skills

Certifications

• EPA Section 608 Certification
• First Aid/CPR Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
