Job Description

We are in search of a Civil Engineer specializing in transportation to join our passionate team in Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will possess a solid understanding of transportation engineering principles and actively contribute to the planning, design, and execution of infrastructure projects. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to enhance the efficiency and sustainability of transportation systems in our cities.

Responsibilities

• Create and design innovative civil engineering solutions for transportation.
• Perform detailed calculations and evaluations to support project execution.
• Develop project timelines and manage execution within budget constraints.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to stakeholders regarding project updates.
• Continuously assess project progress and make necessary adjustments.
• Conduct impact assessments for proposed changes in infrastructure.
• Act as a liaison between contractors and the engineering team.
• Implement technological tools to enhance project efficiency.
• Conduct peer reviews of design proposals and reports.
• Ensure environmental sustainability in all project designs and actions.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Master's degree in Transportation Engineering is preferred

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in civil engineering, specifically focused on transportation systems

Technical Skills

• Civil 3D
• Geographic Information Systems (GIS)

• Lean Six Sigma certification
• Highway Safety Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
