Job Description

As an Extracorporeal Technician at HealthCare Innovations Inc., you'll play a vital role in supporting patient care by operating and maintaining extracorporeal circulation equipment during critical medical procedures. Your expertise will directly contribute to effective patient outcomes and ensure the smooth functioning of life-saving technology.

Responsibilities

  • Perform extracorporeal therapies including hemodialysis, continuous renal replacement therapy, and therapeutic apheresis.
  • Set up and maintain patient monitoring systems to ensure equipment functionality.
  • Assist in training and educating patients and families about renal care procedures.
  • Document patient information, treatment records, and progress notes accurately.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of best practices.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advancements and trends in extracorporeal therapies.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a recognized extracorporeal technician training program
Experience
  • Prior experience in performing extracorporeal therapies, preferably in a clinical setting.

Certifications
  • Certification as a Clinical Perfusionist (preferred)
