We seek a detail-oriented City Weighmaster to accurately measure and record weights of vehicles and materials in accordance with regulatory standards. Your role is vital in ensuring compliance and fostering trade fairness.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and document vehicle and material weights using calibrated scales.
• Coordinate with enforcement officials for compliance checks.
• Provide detailed customer service to explain weighing processes.
• Prepare material and vehicle weight tickets for drivers.
• Maintain cleanliness and order in the weighing facility.
• Report any discrepancies or equipment malfunctions.
• Assist with data management and reporting to regulatory agencies.
• Develop relationships with local businesses for compliance understanding.
• Conduct educational sessions regarding weight compliance.
• Manage scheduling of weighing appointments for efficiency.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Professional certification in weight measurement is a plus.

Experience

• Experience with customer service and public inquiries
