We’re looking for a skilled Cantor to perform religious music and guide the congregation in worship. Your role will be essential in crafting a spiritually enriching experience through music.

Responsibilities

• Lead in rehearsals, fostering a team spirit among musicians.
• Develop and implement innovative musical programs.
• Advise on the selection of musical pieces for community events.
• Encourage congregational participation through greater musical engagement.

Requirements

Education

• Graduate degree in Music or a related field is preferred

Experience

• Experience in conducting choirs or other vocal groups

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of religious and liturgical music traditions
• Flexibility to adapt to different musical styles

Soft Skills

• Time management and organizational skills

Advantageous

• Ability to compose or arrange music: Skills in creating original compositions for services.
• Knowledge of multiple religious music traditions: Experience in different musical heritage relevant to diverse congregations.
