Job Description

As a Sewing Machine Operator, you will be at the heart of our production team, responsible for measuring, cutting, and sewing fabric to create garment linings. The ideal candidate will ensure the quality and functionality of the lining materials, collaborating closely with designers and garment makers.

Responsibilities

• Utilize industrial sewing machines to construct linings per design specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on sewing machines for optimal performance.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the workspace.
• Engage in troubleshooting sewing machine issues and resolve them promptly.
• Track production progress and report any discrepancies to the supervisor.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Sewing Machine Operator or similar role.

Technical Skills

• Sewing techniques
• Fabric properties
• Measurement tools

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Time management

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with specialty fabrics: Knowledge of sewing techniques specific to unique or delicate fabrics.
