Pump Operator

Job Description

The Pump Operator is essential for maintaining the integrity and performance of our pumping systems. In this role, you will operate and troubleshoot pumps while ensuring optimal functionality and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Run routine checks on pump performance and adjust settings as necessary.
• Document all maintenance and repairs performed on pump systems.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols while operating equipment.
• Train junior operators on proper pump operation and maintenance techniques.
• Review operational data and suggest improvements for efficiency.
• Respond promptly to pump failures to minimize downtime.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in pump operation is a plus

Experience

• 1-3 years experience in pump operation or industrial machine operation preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in hazardous environments: Experience maintaining pumps in challenging environments such as oil and gas.
