Site Reliability Engineer

Job Description

Join our team as a Site Reliability Engineer! You will collaborate with developers, systems administrators, and other partners to ensure the reliability and performance of our applications. In this role, you will automate deployments, monitor systems, and implement best practices to achieve high availability.

Responsibilities

• Ensure service uptime through proactive monitoring and alert configurations.
• Collaborate with engineers to design and implement scalable systems.
• Develop scripts and tools to automate routine tasks.
• Conduct performance testing and capacity planning.
• Work with cloud services and infrastructure as code tools.
• Assist in incident management and disaster recovery planning.
• Document operational procedures and best practices.
• Evaluate and implement monitoring tools to improve system visibility.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in a related field, preferably in SRE or DevOps roles

Technical Skills

• Linux System Administration
• Kubernetes
• Python or Bash Scripting
• AWS or Azure
• Monitoring Tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana)

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Team collaboration

Advantageous

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools: Familiarity with tools like Terraform or Ansible for configuration management.
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes: Understanding of continuous integration and deployment workflows.
