Job Description

As a Shoe Machine Operator, you will be responsible for attaching insoles to shoe uppers using specialized machinery or hand tools. Your role is crucial in ensuring the production of high-quality footwear that meets our standards for comfort and durability.

Responsibilities

• Setup and operate tacking machines for insole attachment.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning on production equipment.
• Document production outputs and assist in inventory management.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors regarding production goals.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss improvements in workflow.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum of 1 year experience in a production or manufacturing environment.

Technical Skills

• Basic math skills
• Experience with hand and power tools

Soft Skills

• Ability to follow directions
• Strong work ethic

Advantageous

• Quality control experience: Familiarity with quality control processes is a plus.
• Machine maintenance skills: Ability to maintain and troubleshoot machinery effectively.
