Job Description
The Nuclear Operator is responsible for the safe operation and maintenance of nuclear power plants. Duties include monitoring reactor systems and ensuring compliance with all safety regulations to prevent accidents and ensure environmental safety.
Responsibilities
Supervise and operate the control room while monitoring the reactor.
Ensure that all safety checks are performed on time and accurately documented.
Assist in developing emergency response plans and safety audits.
Provide support to training new operators to ensure a high level of competency.
Implement and enforce strict adherence to safety regulations.
Engage in regular communication with regulatory bodies and management regarding operational safety.
Requirements
Education
Master's degree in engineering, physics, or related field is preferred
Experience
5+ years of experience in nuclear power plant operations
