Community Center Worker

Job Description

As a Blacksmith Helper, you will play an essential role in supporting skilled blacksmiths with various tasks related to forging and shaping metal objects. This position requires physical stamina, good hand-eye coordination, and the ability to follow instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Engage and supervise community center visitors, providing support and information.
• Plan and implement recreational programs tailored to diverse populations.
• Maintain a clean and organized environment within the community center.
• Assist with record-keeping, scheduling, and coordination of activities.
• Work collaboratively with team members to enhance community engagement.
• Respond to community needs and suggest improvements to programs.
• Foster a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors and participants.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of experience working in a community center or a similar environment

Technical Skills

• Microsoft Office Suite

• Strong communication
• Organizational skills
• Conflict resolution

Certifications

• CPR and First Aid certifications

Languages

• English: Fluent
• Spanish: Conversational
