Shipping, Receiving, and Inventory Clerk

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Store Receiving Clerk who will be responsible for overseeing incoming shipments, verifying product accuracy, and ensuring the efficient organization of inventory. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining our inventory integrity and supporting store operations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming shipments for quality and accuracy.
• Document receipt of goods and maintain records in the inventory system.
• Organize inventory in storage and make sure items are easily accessible.
• Resolve issues with suppliers regarding shipping discrepancies.
• Contribute to inventory audits and cycle counts.
• Collaborate with logistics staff to optimize storage solutions.
• Maintain equipment used for inventory management.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss inventory flows.
• Implement best practices for receiving processes.
• Provide feedback on purchasing and inventory procedures.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Prior experience in logistics or retail is an advantage

• Forklift Operation

Advantageous

• Knowledge of Safety Standards: Understanding of OSHA regulations related to warehouse operations.
• Retail Experience: Previous experience in a retail environment is a plus.
