Network Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Network Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate should have a solid foundation in networking technologies and will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our network infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and maintain the organization's local area and wide area networks.
• Implement and manage network monitoring tools to ensure service availability.
• Document network changes, issues, and resolutions to maintain history.
• Work closely with vendors for equipment upgrades and troubleshooting.
• Design network solutions that align with organizational goals and objectives.
• Analyze network traffic and performance metrics to identify bottlenecks.
• Respond to and resolve network incidents and service requests in a timely manner.
• Assist in the migration of network services to cloud-based solutions.
• Identify vulnerabilities in the network and propose necessary enhancements.
• Contribute to the preparation of budget proposals for network upgrades.
• Collaborate on projects requiring networking knowledge and expertise.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or a related field
• Relevant certifications such as CCNA or CCNP

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering roles

Technical Skills

• Network Design
• Firewall Configuration
• SD-WAN Technologies

Soft Skills

• Project Management
• Customer Service

Certifications

• Juniper Networks Certified Internet Associate (JNCIA)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in SDN: Hands-on experience with Software Defined Networking (SDN) concepts.
