Join our dynamic team as a Data Communications Technician. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining data communication systems within our organization, ensuring seamless connectivity and efficient operation.

Responsibilities

• Implement network solutions tailored to meet business needs.
• Conduct regular maintenance checks and updates on systems.
• Work with third-party vendors to ensure compatibility and performance.
• Perform incident management to resolve outages quickly.
• Document changes to the network infrastructure for tracking.
• Train junior staff and new hires on network procedures and policies.
• Evaluate emerging technologies for potential integration.
• Support cloud networking solutions as needed.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support.
• Assist in network design and implementation for new projects.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Associates degree with relevant experience may be considered

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in network administration or related roles
