Job Description

As a Biofuels Production Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of our biofuels plant. This role involves ensuring efficient production processes, coordinating maintenance of equipment, and strictly adhering to health and safety regulations. You will lead a team of skilled operators and work to optimize production efficiency while minimizing environmental impacts.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee biofuels production operations and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Enhance production efficiency through continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage staff schedules and provide training to develop team skills.
  • Monitor environmental compliance and implement necessary changes.
  • Coordinate with engineering teams for equipment upgrades and maintenance.
  • Identify production bottlenecks and propose effective solutions.
  • Ensure documentation of production processes and compliance checks.
  • Report to management on production metrics and other key performance indicators.
  • Develop best practices in line with industry trends for sustainable production.
  • Facilitate communication between departments for streamlined operations.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's in Chemical Engineering or Environmental Science
  • Relevant certifications in Lean Management or similar
Experience
  • At least 7 years in manufacturing or biofuels production management
