Job Description

We are seeking an Asbestos Wire Finisher to perform finishing tasks on asbestos-coated wires, ensuring adherence to safety standards and quality control guidelines. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in manufacturing, particularly in environments dealing with hazardous materials.

Responsibilities

• Apply finishes to wires, ensuring even coverage and adherence to specifications.
• Conduct routine maintenance on coating equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Monitor production flow and assist in troubleshooting issues as they arise.
• Maintain detailed records of coating operations and inspections.
• Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure project timelines are met.
• Stay updated on best practices and emerging technologies in wire finishing.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Completion of a technical training program is preferred

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in a similar production role preferred
