Job Description

As a Longshore Equipment Operator, your primary responsibilities will include the operation of cranes and other heavy equipment to facilitate cargo movement at our maritime facility. We value teamwork and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations of cargo loading and unloading.
• Communicate effectively with peers and supervisors to streamline operations.
• Maintain detailed logs of equipment usage and maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues as they arise.
• Assist in planning and coordinating cargo movements at the terminal.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or GED

Experience

• 4+ years of experience in a similar role preferred.

• Loader Operation

Certifications

• Advanced Heavy Equipment Operator Certification
• Forklift Safety Certification
