Body Shop Estimator

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Body Shop Estimator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of automotive repair processes, excellent communication skills, and the ability to accurately assess collision damage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed damage assessments and repair estimates for customers.
• Interface with insurance adjusters to facilitate smooth claims processing.
• Order and manage repair parts inventory.
• Coordinate with technicians for accurate and timely repairs.
• Keep meticulous records of all repair orders and invoices.
• Communicate timelines and repair progress to customers regularly.
• Review and adjust estimates as repairs progress to ensure accuracy.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate's degree in Automotive Technology preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of automotive repair experience in a similar role.

Languages

• English: Fluent
