Job Description

As a Compliance Officer in Birmingham, you will play a vital role in ensuring our organization complies with regulatory requirements and internal policies. You will monitor and analyze compliance processes, conduct risk assessments, and develop strategies to minimize potential compliance risks.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure ongoing compliance monitoring and reporting.
  • Assist in the development of compliance frameworks and procedures.
  • Conduct investigations into compliance breaches and oversee corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with legal counsel on compliance-related matters.
  • Participate in audits and assessments by external regulatory bodies.
  • Communicate compliance requirements effectively with staff at all levels.
  • Draft and maintain compliance policies and best practices documentation.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Master's degree preferred
Experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in the compliance sector
