Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Court, Municipal, and License Clerk to support judicial processes and provide essential administrative functions. This role involves managing records, processing licenses, and assisting the public with inquiries.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the intake, processing, and filing of legal documents.
  • Provide clerical support during court proceedings.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
  • Facilitate communication between the public and court officials.
  • Organize and coordinate public records requests.
  • Assist in the training of new staff members.
  • Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting the department.
  • Conduct public hearings and maintain records of proceedings.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or related field is a plus
Experience
  • 2+ years in a government or legal setting
