Job Description

As a Pesticide Handler at Green Fields Inc., you will be tasked with applying chemicals for vegetation health and safety. We are looking for individuals who take pride in their work and are knowledgeable about chemical handling, contributing to sustainable agricultural practices.

Responsibilities

• Effectively apply pesticides using various spraying techniques.
• Monitor and evaluate pest populations and plant health.
• Ensure compliance with local and federal regulations regarding pesticide use.
• Maintain and service pesticide application equipment regularly.
• Train new staff on safety protocols and proper pesticide handling.
• Document all pesticide use, including quantities and locations applied.
• Engage with clients to educate them on pest management best practices.
• Assist in managing records for compliance audits.
• Keep the work area clean and organized, ensuring all materials are stored safely.
• Be proactive in identifying potential pest problems before they escalate.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in pesticide application is preferred

Experience

• 1+ years of experience in pesticide application or a related field

Certifications
