Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Safety Scientist to ensure the safety and quality of our food products. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting thorough scientific research, developing and implementing safety procedures, and ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Perform in-depth analysis and risk assessments for food safety.
  • Establish and oversee food safety management systems.
  • Develop training modules and workshops for staff on food safety practices.
  • Collaborate with R&D to ensure safety in new product development.
  • Compile and review data for reporting and compliance.
  • Engage with regulatory bodies to ensure adherence to safety standards.
  • Conduct sensory evaluations to assess product quality.
  • Implement corrective actions based on safety audits.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to food safety.
  • Liaison with marketing to communicate food safety updates.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science or related field
  • Advanced degree in Food Safety or a related discipline preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in food safety management.
