Job Description

We're on the lookout for a skilled Upholsterer to join our talented team at Crafted Comforts LLC. You will play a key role in reimagining furniture through your artistry and craftsmanship. This position requires a keen eye for detail, a passion for design, and proficiency in working with various fabrics and materials.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate furniture for repair needs and upholstery requirements effectively.
• Select and source materials that align with aesthetics and sustainability standards.
• Cut, measure, and prepare fabric for specific furniture applications.
• Replace worn upholstery with high-quality materials.
• Employ various fastening techniques including stapling and stitching.
• Work collaboratively with the design team to achieve desired outcomes.
• Uphold quality control measures to ensure top-notch craftsmanship.
• Take responsibility for tool and equipment care and maintenance.
• Ensure a tidy and functional workspace at all times.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or GED
• Completion of upholstery program is a plus

Experience

• At least 2 years of hands-on experience in upholstery work

Languages

• English: Fluent
