Job Description

We are seeking a knowledgeable and motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team in Houston. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of mechanical systems and have a knack for innovative problem-solving, working on projects that range from conceptual design to implementation.

Responsibilities

• Create 3D models and detailed drawings using CAD software.
• Perform stress analysis and other calculations to validate designs.
• Present engineering findings to stakeholders and clients.
• Collaborate with procurement for material selection and sourcing.
• Research and implement new technologies related to mechanical engineering.
• Lead discussions to resolve engineering challenges.
• Review and provide feedback on technical documentation.
• Mentor new hires on engineering best practices and company culture.
• Assure adherence to industry standards throughout the design process.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within engineering operations.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or closely related discipline
• Master's degree is an advantage

Experience

• 5+ years of mechanical engineering experience with a focus on design

Technical Skills

• Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD)
• Project Management Software

Soft Skills

• Leadership

Certifications

• Six Sigma Certification
• Lean Manufacturing Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with Robotics: Knowledge of robotics and automation systems in manufacturing.
