Job Description

The Atomic Fuel Assembler will be responsible for assembling and preparing atomic fuel for use in nuclear reactors. This role requires strict adherence to safety protocols while ensuring the quality and efficiency of fuel assembly. Attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Calibrate machinery for fuel assembly processes.
  • Document assembly and testing results per regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in training new staff on assembly processes and safety standards.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements in fuel assembly.
  • Work alongside engineers to provide feedback on assembly tools and equipment.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associates or Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred
Experience
  • Experience in a nuclear energy environment is a plus.
