Job Description
As a Mechanical Engineering Technologist, you'll be pivotal in ensuring motors are tested to meet quality standards. This role involves conducting various tests, analyzing results, and troubleshooting problems to enhance motor performance.
Responsibilities
Conduct mechanical tests on motors, ensuring adherence to safety and quality protocols.
Evaluate and analyze performance data to provide actionable insights.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance motor design based on test findings.
Document all inspections, test methodologies, and adjustments made throughout the process.
Participate in team meetings to report on testing progress and issues.
Ensure all testing equipment is calibrated and maintained properly.
Assist with training new employees on testing procedures and safety protocols.
Stay abreast of advancements in motor technology and testing equipment.
Contribute to R&D projects aimed at improving efficiency and performance.
Actively engage in peer reviews to uphold quality standards.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field
Master's degree is preferable.
Experience
2-5 years of relevant experience in mechanical or motor testing.
