Job Description
The sUAS Technician will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of small unmanned aircraft systems (sUAS) used in various industries. The technician will work as part of a team to ensure the safe and efficient operation of sUAS.
Responsibilities
Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting on sUAS equipment.
Execute detailed pre-flight checks to ensure readiness of all systems.
Lead operational missions with a focus on safety and efficiency.
Develop and implement operational protocols for sUAS utilization.
Record detailed logs of sUAS usage and maintenance for compliance.
Collaborate with the engineering team to improve sUAS technology.
Provide support for training sessions on sUAS safety and operation.
Analyze flight data for performance and maintenance insights.
Engage with clients to ensure satisfaction and address technical queries.
Requirements
Education
FAA Remote Pilot Certificate
Bachelor's degree in Aviation Technology preferred
Experience
3+ years of experience in the maintenance and operation of sUAS
Technical Skills
Advanced knowledge of sUAS platforms and sensors
Proficiency in electronic diagnostic tools
