Reinforcing Steel Machine Operator

Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled Reinforcing Steel Machine Operator to join our team. The operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining machinery used for cutting, bending, and shaping reinforcing steel bars according to precise specifications. A successful candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Setup and operate reinforcing steel machinery for bending, cutting, and shaping steel bars.
• Ensure accurate dimensions and alignment of reinforcing steel bars through precise machinery operation.
• Inspect equipment before use and perform routine maintenance as necessary.
• Monitor production output and quality control throughout the manufacturing process.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring proper handling of materials and tools.
• Follow safety protocols in line with company policies and industry regulations.
• Work collaboratively with other departments to achieve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
• Document production metrics and report progress regularly to management.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Prior experience operating reinforcing steel machinery is preferred.
