Job Description

As a Mobile Heavy Equipment Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing clutch systems and manual transmission components. Our ideal candidate has a strong understanding of automotive mechanics and problem-solving skills, with a commitment to ensuring safety and efficiency in all operations.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all repairs comply with safety standards and regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of all repairs performed.
• Train junior mechanics on best practices in clutch system repairs.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss job progress and safety issues.
• Assist in inventory management for tools and replacement parts.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associate's degree in Automotive Technology preferred

Experience

• 3+ years of experience as a mobile or heavy equipment mechanic.

Certifications

• EPA Certification for refrigerant handling

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with vintage or classic vehicle restoration: Experience working on restoration projects for classic cars and heavy equipment.
• Knowledge of hydraulic systems: Understanding of hydraulic systems and their operation in heavy equipment.
