Join our manufacturing team as a Casting Machine Set-Up Operator. You will play a crucial role in preparing machines for production runs, monitoring casting processes, and performing regular maintenance to ensure operational efficiency and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate casting equipment for production runs.
• Run casting machines and monitor output for quality assurance.
• Make necessary adjustments to equipment to meet production targets.
• Conduct inspections of casted products to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Document machine performance, production output, and maintenance activities.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production schedules and share insights.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe workspace.
• Troubleshoot and swiftly resolve machine malfunctions or performance issues.
• Provide input on process improvements and efficiency enhancements.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• 1-3 years of experience in casting operations or a similar role within manufacturing

Technical Skills

• Mechanical aptitude
• Basic computer skills

Soft Skills

• Attention to detail
• Effective communication

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with automated casting machinery: Hands-on experience with high-tech automated casting systems.
