Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Veterinarian to join our team in Minneapolis. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality medical care for a diverse range of animals. You will be responsible for examinations, diagnoses, and treatment plans, as well as client education and follow-ups.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent veterinary care through diagnosis and treatment.
  • Perform surgeries, including spays, neuters, and dental cleanings.
  • Administer anesthetics and monitor patients during procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with pet owners about health care options.
  • Remain abreast of developments in veterinary medicine.
  • Host educational workshops for pet owners about responsible pet ownership.
  • Contribute to maintaining a safe and sanitary clinic environment.
  • Foster teamwork and communication within the clinic.
  • Assist in emergency and critical care cases as needed.
  • Evaluate animal behavior and provide insight for training programs.

Requirements

Education
  • DVM from an accredited veterinary college
  • Specialization in Animal Behavior or Surgery preferred
Experience
  • 2+ years in veterinary practice preferred
