Job Description

As an Industrial Audiologist at XYZ Corporation, you'll play a crucial role in preventing and addressing hearing and balance issues in the workplace. You'll assess employees' hearing, manage conservation programs, and work closely with organizations to foster a safe hearing environment.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct noise exposure assessments and collaborate with safety teams to recommend control strategies.
  • Develop and implement training programs for employees regarding noise hazards and prevention strategies.
  • Leverage technology to monitor workplace noise levels and assess the effectiveness of implemented controls.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, providing insights and recommendations to leadership regarding auditory health and safety.
  • Engage in community outreach efforts to promote hearing health awareness and resources.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Audiology or related field
  • State licensure as an Audiologist is required
Experience
  • Experience with OSHA regulations and compliance in hearing conservation.
