Job Description

The First-Line Supervisor will manage a dedicated team of yard workers in the cotton processing yard, ensuring the efficient handling and storage of cotton bales. You will play a critical role in maintaining operational standards and safety compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team in the cotton gin yard to optimize efficiency.
  • Oversee receipt and movement of cotton bales.
  • Implement safety practices within the team.
  • Maintain accurate records of daily operations.
  • Identify and report any operational issues.
  • Conduct team meetings to ensure clear communication.
  • Evaluate individual performance and provide feedback.
  • Assist in process improvements to enhance operations.

Requirements

Education
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Further education in relevant fields is an advantage
Experience
  • 5+ years of direct industry experience preferred
