Job Description

The Sandstone Repairer will perform vital repairs and restoration of sandstone structures. Ideal applicants will possess hands-on experience with sandstone and a strong focus on detail. This role requires proficiency in using specialized tools and techniques for effective restoration.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed assessments of sandstone damage.
• Utilize chisels, grinders, and other tools for restoration.
• Work at heights using scaffolding and rigging.
• Implement preservation techniques for historic buildings.
• Document project progress and report to management.
• Assist in the preparation of project estimates.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss ongoing projects.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification in heritage conservation is a plus

Experience

• 2-5 years of hands-on experience with sandstone or similar materials
