Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Shoe Machine Operator and Tender to join our production team. This role involves operating machinery to round the edges of leather goods, ensuring high-quality standards are met. The ideal candidate should possess attention to detail and proficiency in machinery operation.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate shoe machinery for production runs.
• Inspect both raw materials and finished products for defects.
• Maintain accurate records of production and inspect machinery performance.
• Report machinery malfunctions and participate in troubleshooting.
• Support the broader production team in meeting deadlines and quality standards.
• Engage in ongoing training to improve skills and safety knowledge.

Requirements

Education

• Vocational training in leatherworking or a related field is preferred

Experience

• 2-4 years of experience in a related manufacturing role

Languages

• English: Fluent
