Metal-Refining Furnace Operator

Job Description

Join our innovative team as a Metal-Refining Furnace Operator. We are looking for someone with at least 2-3 years of experience in furnace operations who can help us enhance our quality production processes and contribute to a safe and efficient work environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate multiple furnaces, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
• Set up equipment and prepare the area for refining processes.
• Perform analysis of metal samples at various stages of production.
• Work closely with the quality assurance team to meet production goals.
• Assist in developing operational protocols and procedures.
• Train and mentor junior staff in furnace operations and safety protocols.
• Implement lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency.
• Collaborate with maintenance crews to schedule equipment repairs.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss production issues and feedback.
• Ensure compliance with environmental standards in metal refining.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Associate degree in Metallurgy, Engineering, or a related field is a plus

Experience

• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Advantageous
