Job Description

As a Millwright at Tech Innovations Inc., you will be responsible for assembling, installing, and maintaining industrial machinery. Your role is crucial in ensuring the operational efficiency and reliability of our manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Install and maintain complex machinery for high-efficiency production lines.
• Execute preventive maintenance programs to enhance equipment performance.
• Conduct diagnostics and troubleshoot machinery issues effectively.
• Support the design and layout of new machinery installations.
• Train junior staff on machinery operation and safety practices.
• Continuously seek out operational improvements in machinery usage.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the workshop.
• Assist in developing standard operating procedures for machinery operation.
• Support the maintenance supervisor in day-to-day operations.

Requirements

Education

• Technical degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field

Experience

• At least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

Technical Skills

• Hydraulics and pneumatics
• Knowing CAD software

Soft Skills

• Analytical thinking
• Teamwork

Certifications

• OSHA Safety Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Welding and fabrication experience: Skills in welding for machine repairs and custom fabrication.
• Running training programs for apprentices: Experience in mentoring and training less experienced workers.
