Job Description

The Stage Manager is a pivotal figure in theatrical production, responsible for organizing and coordinating all aspects of the show. You'll lead rehearsals, manage the production schedule, and ensure that all technical elements are executed smoothly.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate all stage elements, including set design, lighting, sound, props, and costumes.
  • Ensure the smooth running of all rehearsals and performances.
  • Collaborate with the Director and Producer to realize their vision on stage.
  • Oversee the stage during performances, calling cues and ensuring everything runs according to plan.
  • Handle any unforeseen issues that may arise during rehearsals or performances.
  • Facilitate communication among cast and crew members to maintain harmony.
  • Develop and finalize detailed production schedules.
  • Utilize stage management software for effective oversight.
  • Monitor and evaluate the overall production process to enhance future performances.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards in a theatrical environment.
