Job Description

As a Counter and Rental Clerk, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring that customers have a fantastic experience while renting their favorite films or games. Your primary duties will involve assisting customers, managing transactions, and keeping the store organized and inviting.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and assist patrons with their selections.
• Manage rental transactions, including money handling and receipts.
• Ensure the store remains tidy and welcoming throughout the day.
• Stay informed about new releases and trends within the video rental market.
• Address customer inquiries and offer personalized recommendations.
• Resolve any customer issues with professionalism and patience.
• Conduct periodic inventory checks and organize stock as needed.
• Assist in maintaining the customer database and documentation.
• Promote special offers or events to enhance customer engagement.
• Work collaboratively with other clerks to create a friendly environment.

Requirements

Education

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience working in a video rental store is a plus

Experience

• 1-2 years of experience preferred in a retail or customer service environment.

Languages
