Job Description

As a Transportation Mechanic, you will play a vital role in the maintenance and repair of our fleet vehicles. Your responsibilities will include performing routine inspections, diagnosing issues with diesel engines, and executing repairs while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and accurately assess vehicle issues.
• Conduct preventive maintenance checks on the fleet.
• Perform inspections and repairs in a timely manner.
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance tasks.
• Coordinate with the fleet manager on vehicle performance.
• Ensure compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.
• Mentor and assist less experienced mechanics, as necessary.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical certification in automotive mechanics

Experience

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in automotive mechanics, preferably with diesel engines
