Job Description

As a Neuropsychologist, you will play a crucial role in the assessment and treatment of patients suffering from neurological disorders that impact cognitive functions. You will conduct comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations to diagnose conditions like traumatic brain injury, dementia, and strokes, providing personalized treatment plans. This position requires a deep understanding of brain function and the psychological aspects related to cognitive changes.

Responsibilities

  • Perform neuropsychological testing and assessments to inform diagnosis and treatment.
  • Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with neurologists, psychiatrists, and other professionals.
  • Educate patients and families about cognitive disorders and treatment approaches.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of assessments and treatment plans.
  • Evaluate and revise treatment plans based on patient feedback and progress.
  • Participate in training and mentorship programs for interns and other staff.
  • Conduct community outreach to raise awareness about neurological health and services.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions based on evidence-based practices.

Requirements

Education
  • Doctorate degree in Neuropsychology
  • Board Certification in Clinical Neuropsychology is advantageous
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical neuropsychology.
